COMPANY BACKGORUND
Adept Therapeutics Inc. (AdeptTx) is an innovative start-up biotech company located at Beverly and Woburn in Great Boston area, MA, with passion and commitment to discover and develop potentially life-changing medicines for people with unmet medical needs. Focusing on T cells, Natural Killer (NK) cells and immune-suppressive myeloid cells, we leverage multiple advanced antibody technologies to discover fully human or humanized antibody therapeutics to enhance anti-tumor immunity. We are establishing and optimizing two unique platforms including immune cell engager bispecific antibodies and multi-functional tri-specific antibodies, which change tumor microenvironment (TME) to boost immune responses against cancer cells through 1) recruiting and activating effector immune cells and 2) modulating immune-suppressive TME to support tumor killing effector cell function. Our expertise in GPCR antibody discovery and development enables us to reach for the “high-hanging fruits”, the most challenging targets for antibody therapeutics discovery. Our broad product portfolio focuses on both hematological malignancies, such as cutaneous lymphoma, and solid tumors including triple negative breast cancer, ovarian, colon, kidney, renal and pancreatic cancers etc.
Adept Therapeutics, Inc. is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, marital, domestic partnership or civil union status, age, disability, genetic information, status as a veteran or as a member of the military or status in any group protected by applicable federal or state laws.
We are seeking highly organized, collaborative and self-motivated Scientist or Associate Scientist or Research Associate to join us harnessing various modalities of antibody therapeutics to modulate novel and challenging therapeutic targets in Immuno Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for wet lab work for the discovery of antibody therapeutics from early discovery up to pre-IND stage. The successful candidate will utilize molecular biology and immunology knowledge and skills to help discover and develop innovative antibody therapeutics to fulfill unmet medical needs for cancer patients. The successful candidate should be flexible, ready to troubleshoot, and have excellent communication and teamwork skill to ensure smooth co-ordination and completion of assigned tasks and activities. Full training will be provided.
